Katy Perry annoys the crap out of me.  Envy? Nah.
The song has the line:

Perhaps the difference is the immediacy.  I was out amongst the ruined east of Christchurch, the abandoned Kate Sheppard Resthome and adjacent streets, and at dusk I found this:
