Tell Me What To Do

A quick question - would a true liberal party allow party votes, and the idea of collective caucus responsibility? Surely to be truly liberal it would require every vote, even as part of government, to be a conscience vote.

  1. How about those who 'party vote', expecting a certain position from the party as a whole? Their 'investment' should be regarded too.

    1. I really don't know, but I'm interested, which is why I asked. And I think you have never been enough of an ACT-voting liberal to know either, but that's a good point about party votes.
I'm inclined to believe that if you vote for a party like ACT, you get what you deserve. And if you don't vote for a party like ACT, you don't get what you deserve, but you do get amused.
